Rocky Mountain High

We now call Colorado home! We arrived about 3 weeks ago and are getting settled. Our neighbors have been very outgoing and helpful - they've given us all kinds of information about the community and the in's & out's of living here.

Scott is anxiously awaiting May 6th - the opening day of his dental practice. The office is coming along nicely and he's been able to meet his staff. He's excited to get going!

The kids have adjusted well. They're happy to have warmer weather to play outside. We all are enjoying the increased space from the townhome - we're ready for a little less "closeness" as a family. Adyson already has lots of friends at school and enjoys her teacher and classmates. Because the school is in our neighborhood there are no buses (argh!) - so we get to drive Adyson to and from school each day. Some days after school we stay to play on the playground.

We ventured downtown to the Children's Museum and the kids had a great time. It's so fun to be close to "big" city conveniences without living right in the thick of it.

Here's Adyson and Blake on the fire engine - they had a great time driving, putting out fires and practicing calling 911.

Wow - what can we say? It was all Scott and I could do to contain our fits of laughter. Blake said he was a worm, we had our own ideas...little stinker!! :)

All things considered, we're happy, healthy and enjoying this adventure together. We miss our friends and family, but look forward to fun visits back "home" and to having visitors here in our new home (hint, hint!)
